European Week of Regions and Cities

In the context of the European Week of Regions and Cities, two virtual events will take place with the EU's outermost regions:

• Session “MFF 2021-2027 - Outermost Regions”, on 14 October from 12:30 to 13:30 (Brussels time).This session will review opportunities for the outermost regions in various EU programmes post 2020.
• Workshop “Outermost regions: scaling up cooperation" on 15 October from 15:30 to 17:00 (Brussels time). This session will provide an opportunity to discuss outermost regions’ cooperation with their neighbours and how it supports regional growth and integration.

These events are jointly organised by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy and the Presidency of the Outermost regions currently held by Mayotte.
